About the Shoot
When an artist and her team approaches us with a big idea and a budget to match it, we are game to bring that video production idea to life! In this case, Christine Lee and her team wanted a fast-paced video to mirror her song, one styled on the classic larger-than-life, vintage feel of the 80s. They wanted all the classics: big stage, full band, DJ lights, smoke machines, bright lasers, and, of course, background dancers—the whole shebang! Can you blame them? Who wouldn’t want to star in their own personal rock concert? (Fun fact: after we finished the shoot, the onset crew performed their own fantasy jam-sesh up on the stage before tearing down!)
Marshall speakers, Fendy guitars, DW drum kit, action lights, and laser beams—the stage was set for Christine’s rockstar fantasy. But, we still wanted more. So also created a backlight silhouette runway and an LED backdrop lit with both with standard lighting and UV options. By the way if you need gear rental for your next project, we do that too!
Shoot Day
On shoot day, our musicians and dancers arrived ready to rock! It was important that the band members be both experienced as actors and actual musicians. When shooting a music video to a pre-recorded song, we don’t need the band members to actually play the song. However, many of our crew members are musicians as well, so we made sure each band member knew how to play the song exactly on point, just as it was recorded, so their fingers and rhythm matched up.
For the dancers, we brought in professionals in several dance styles—from ballet to breakdancing, from popping to hip hop. And when it came to shooting the dancers on our surprise silhouette runway, we told them to let their creative energies loose, blending their various skills into a wonderful synthesis just asking for witnesses!
The LED backdrop with UV lighting was one of the favorites of the day—does anyone not get excited when they enter a room glowing vibrant with UV lights? We sure do! Bedazzled in glow bracelets, glow necklaces, white clothes and oodles of energy, the cast and crew had a blast rocking out to Christine’s own rock fantasy. One member of our crew even claimed a cameo in the final cut!
When it came to editing, our final cut became a whole new fusion of styles and elements for our team, complete with cross dissolves, layered scenes, and light flares galore.

Real estate in Los Angeles, CA has been booming and progressively expanding for the past 100 years. You can find beautiful homes on almost every corner and along seemingly countless avenues couched throughout the region, not the least of which include those in the San Fernando Valley, Beverly Hills, by the beach on the Westside, and even our very own Hollywood!
With a booming business and growing demand for media that feature properties and developments, real estate agents need high quality real estate videography, photography, and drone real/reel work to show off the desirable landscape and stunning features in order to appeal to potential buyers. What We Did
For this project, we captured videography, photography, and drone footage for an absolutely gorgeous property in Beverly Hills, one with a stunning view of the city itself. And since this particular location resonated with a notably calming atmosphere—quite rare in much of the L.A. region!—we wanted to capture a sense of this home’s oasis-like essence in the video’s visuals. By utilizing smooth movement techniques with dollies and time-lapse photography, we feel the final product really does capture such a sense of what life in this amazing abode would truly feel like.
At each property we shoot, our aim is to find distinctive creative and aesthetically-pleasing touches to showcase the character, beauty, and unique features of the home or retail property. We produced, filmed and edited this video from Demi Lovato’s “Tell Me You Love Me” Tour 2018.
What an absolute joy it was to working with Demi Lovato and C.A.S.T. Centers, the nation’s top mental health and addiction treatment center. And this was not only because Demi and the team were an absolute joy, which is the very least we could say, but also because our own team at Spirinity also actively seeks to support mental health awareness and care. Some on our team have worked in education and professional counseling, another of our producers has a background in psychology and psychological research, and one of our consultants is a professional MFT. So when an opportunity like this came up—to combine compelling art with mental health activism—how could we pass it by?! Plus, Demi and the C.A.S.T. team truly are gems!
The shoot with Demi and C.A.S.T. involved both photography and videography. One of our celebrity photographer friends invited us to come alongside and shoot video! Again, how could we pass that up?!
Throughout our time at the C.A.S.T. Center in Beverly Hills, we were inspired to hear more about Demi’s involvement at the center and how she strives to help others while also growing and experiencing further health healing herself. With a three camera set up, we were able to be flies on the wall, recording completely unscripted, intimate, candid conversations about the importance of mental health care, group support, and accountability. What an experience!
In 2018, Demi went on her “Tell Me You Love Me” tour, where she spent time talking to her fans about these very issues. So, in this segment, our video was featured across her tour stops. And what an honor it has been, not only to work with these teams, but also to join them in their efforts of helping others as well! We at Spirinity wish Demi and the C.A.S.T. Centers team and members—as well as Demi’s fans and followers of course—nothing but the best!
Maserati Video Shoot

Flashy, luxurious, fast, and smooth—our team-members at Spirinity Productions are BIG car fans—to say the least! So when a green-light opportunity to shoot a Maserati Gran Turismo promo flashed before our eyes, we hit the pedal to the metal!
With a drone-mounted camera speeding and twisting along a curvy roadway through the California mountains, we began the day filming our Maserati aerially. More than just a luxury car, this beast of a machine gave us a keen chase, and we were more than game to keep up! With the help of a fully-stocked pursuit car and excellent precision drivers, we captured high-speed turns and curves along the forest-lined highway, sage pines rising up like salutary spires toward a clear, azure skyscape in the grand majesty of the California outdoors. And, again, to say the very least, the truly natural lighting was on point. And with all this beauty as backdrop still the Gran Turismo outshined, clearly drawing all attention to itself.
Once we finished our outdoor scenes, we drove to the studio, focusing our camerawork on the elegant interior, piercing headlights and grand aesthetics of this majestic vehicle, all set to a mysterious black backdrop. And, again, the Maserati Gran Turismo did not disappoint! It was a dream come true to work with this well-acclaimed Italian originated brand, and we did not want the day to end.
In post-production our goal was to create a modern-esque stylized video spot showcasing the power and legacy of the Maserati brand. One of our team members created and produced the thematic music for the video, which fit perfectly with the footage, just like our drivers did in the Maserati’s driver’s seat! In the end, we were thrilled with the final product, and more than look forward to shooting our next monumental car spot!

Kylie Spence’s Music Video for “Allergic To Your Love”
About the Video
Ever the brilliant artiste, when Kylie Spence came to us with a second single, “Allergic To Your Love,” we at Spirinity immediately knew that we would need to dial up the artistry and emotional weight in this video’s visuals in order to create worthy resonance. Ultimately this involved Kylie literally painting herself into the video itself in a number of different ways (You’ll have to see it to see the vid to see what we mean!). And since her lyrical styling is always thought-provoking as well, we knew that the visuals would have to contain some air of mystery about them too!
While listeners can definitely read different meanings into this song’s lyrics, Kylie herself wanted to bring particular awareness to relational abuse and toxic relationships thorough this video. Being no stranger to exploring the nuances of deep—even heavy and painful—emotions, it didn’t take much for this singer-songwriter to emulate a variety of these throughout the scenes in this video.
Like the initial lyrics themselves, the opening scene sets up imagery that can be analyzed in a multiplicity of ways: red paint dripping slowly from the edge of a bathtub onto alabaster tile below… As Kylie rises from the tub, the story flashes forward—or is it flashing backward?? In any case, we soon see her character is a painter struggling to bring her artistic vision to visual life. The attempts seem to resemble some sort of self-reflection or personal definition, but she struggles to actualize or articulate them genuinely, freely, truly. Clearly she is toiling through conflicting messages about or definitions of herself as she attempts to process them through her art, however painful such a process might prove. But where is the confusion, where is the conflict, where is the pain stemming from?
Throughout the video, we see Kylie receiving texts and messages from her boyfriend, messages growing more and more anxious as time goes progresses, but something seems awry with their relationship—and perhaps with the history of his treatment of her. Are her conflicted interpretations of herself related to such conflicted relationships and the messages they bear? At the same time, we see juxtaposed clips of Kylie also growing more and more frustrated with her artistic attempts.
The Conclusion
As we come to close of this particular story, we see the artist finally resist the temptation to allow abusive relationship to return again; she refuses to allow its messages to enter back into her life. And this resolution, in turn, shifts the experience of her self-reflection. Finally realizing freedom from the bondage of these abusive messages, she becomes better able to create the art she always desired, a truer image of self-expression, and she is finally satisfied with the result.
And returning now to the opening image of the dripping tub… we find this bookended image takes on new meaning, new resolution—and definitely new hope. As Kylie falls back into the tub—an inverse of the original image—we see that it now represents renewal, a kind of baptism into renewed life. But there is still more to learn, there are still more challenges to surmount, and there are still more personal revelations to be discovered, especially in the heart of this artist.
For those who have experienced relational abuse, we hope this video inspires new possibilities and hope for healing renewal—for coming to truer and more beautiful messages about who you are. If you find yourself in an abusive situation or a toxic relationship of any sort, we hope this art might inspire courage to leave it behind, to get help, and to find renewed freedom.

Alexa Friedman’s Music Video For “Meant To Be”
Alexa Friedman is definitely something of a wonder! Our first project with Alexa was the award winning music video “Enraptured,” wherein we created a post-apocalyptic world for her to dominate and developed a cat-and-mouse epic drama for her to showcase her chops! But for this second video, we focused on exhibiting the softer and more contemplative side of Alexa for her single, “Meant to Be,” as the song speaks of the beautiful, albeit sometimes painful, process of coming to peace with who you really are, often over and against the imposed narratives and expectations of others.
The Concept
The concept of the video involved, of all things, Alexa embodied as a deeply symbolic creature of myth, a majestic mermaid. Juxtaposed and contrasted alongside this image of her marine life, she explores the sandy shoreline in a fully human form, contemplating her true identity. In this, she works through these dualisms to progressively own the fullness of her unique self and identity. You’ll have to watch the video to see her progression!—it is indeed a musical and visual marvel! But, for now, let’s just say… “You won’t want to miss this tail!”
And for her look in this fish-tale, we chose a natural, beach wave for her hair, beauty makeup, and a truly stunning purple dress to emulate her bubbly, bright, and brilliant personality. To be sure, we had an absolute ball with the competitive beauty queen as we filmed on several different beaches along the famous Southern California coastline! On an overcast day like this was, the lighting and aesthetic were marvelous, maybe even mythic!
So whether she is dance-battling in the desert or twirling seaside as a mermaid, we always have a blast with the always jubilant and ever-adept Alexa Friedman! And we’re looking forward to sharing our next adventure video with her soon!

Kylie Spence’s Music Video For”Lying Eyes”
The Concept
Our writing and creative team had an absolute blast dreaming up ideas for Kylie Spence’s “Lying Eyes” music video for Kylie Spence. All of her artistry exudes both a palpably confident intrigue and vulnerable searching, a rare air of sensitive strength. To match the sound and meaning of this particular song, we developed a kind of jigsaw mystery in the video’s story, portraying Kylie’s recent relational struggles through flashback and present-day storylines, all imbued thickly with symbolism. Only as the story closes along with the song do all the threads come together, allowing Kylie to move forward with new, albeit haunting, revelation.
The Video Shoot
We shot the video in the desert with a 1967 Cadillac convertible and international Gucci model, JJ. And—oh, baby!—does that car deliver visual punch in this video, and JJ’s no less easy on the eyes either! Moreover we knew Kylie would be able to embody the various emotional movements of the song in her acting, so for her counterpart in the video knew we needed to find an up-and-coming actor who could emotionally rival her—a mystifying someone whose eyes could draw our audience in vulnerably close, though they would already know all along this song is ultimately titled “Lying Eyes.” But you’ll have to see the video itself to see how the lyrics ultimately bear out in the visceral visuals. We will leave the ultimate mystery for you to explore, but here is a preview of some of the plot elements.
The Plot
The story starts when Kylie moves to kick JJ out of her car, out of her life, once and for good. But immediately after and all too quickly, she begins to reminisce about happier times they shared together, remembering the relationship through rose colored glasses, as they say. And, heck, we’ve all been there! Suddenly, however, almost as if summoned by her reflection, JJ appears and disappears again before her. After pulling over, while she looks around for him, Kylie stumbles across a photograph, but we don’t yet see its image. As she reflects on it, again, somehow JJ appears now in the driver’s seat of Kylie’s car, beckoning her over. Mesmerized by JJ’s charisma and motivated by her previous rose-hued reflections, she gets into the car with him, but knowing all to well where this can lead.
As Kylie sings now about the relationship again, the two drive through the long, deserted desert roads. But just as surprisingly as he appears, JJ disappears again in the blink of an eye. At this point, despite the struggle with her torn feelings, Kylie gets more honest with herself about the reality of their relationship. She’s reminded of the games JJ continuously played with her heart, and she regrets letting him back in so easily. When he appears suddenly in the middle of the road ahead of her, Kylie decided to end the relationship once and for all in one desperate, decisive move. As she speeds towards him, he gives one last look of desperation before she zooms right past or through—you’ll see what we mean. We see that JJ has transformed into something new, something we will leave for you to see—but to be sure, Kylie will only have her memories and honest reflections to contend with in the end. She closes out the video with more questions than where she began, but she also has more resolve, more clarity, more confidence in herself. But some mystery still remains as to what was real and what was not.

Gabriel And Jess Conte’s Music Video For “Can’t Help Falling In Love”
Filming the Video
Filming “Can’t Help Falling in Love” with Gabriel and Jess Conte was indeed a magical experience with a truly magical couple! Desiring to model a simple, romantic duet with grand piano accompaniment and ballroom dancing amid a starry tapestry, we built our set in a studio in Los Angeles, which included a stage, black curtains, the aforementioned piano, and nothing less than 10,000 twinkle lights!
Many of the Conte’s fans are aware of their fairytale-like love story, and we wanted to capture that visually as a kind of dance for this cover of a truly classic romance song. Gabriel and Jess worked with one of our choreographers to bring physical expression and movement to this beautiful song! Combining that on set with their elegant looks designed by celebrity stylist Brandon, we were able to transform these YouTubers into a real-life prince and princess dancing at a ball for two set amidst the stars!
In YouTube videos, Jess has consistently showcased her piano talent, and we wanted to give that a nod in this video as well as a set up for the dance. Additionally, here’s a fun behind the scenes fact: Gabriel actually learned how to play this song on the piano as well in case we wanted to reverse the roles! To say these two are wholly dedicated to their craft is a drastic understatement!
We had another surprise bonus at this video shoot: the Conte’s had just adopted their dog, Milo! And, boy, is he the cutest little puppy. His presence on set was certainly another highlight for our team while shooting!
As always, we thoroughly enjoyed creating this idyllic video with Jess and Gabriel Conte, and we can’t wait to work with them again! They truly are magical!
